Cliff Clifford M. Kenwood - President
Mr. Kenwood is the founder of Rebirth Capital, and a co-founder of the American Community Renewable Energy Fund. Cliff has over fourteen years of experience working in the specialty finance and environmental arenas. Prior to Rebirth, Cliff worked for Stonehenge Capital, an innovative financial firm specializing in tax credit financing, venture capital and community development. He played an important role in creating the firm's New Markets Tax Credit and Motion Picture Tax Credit lines of business. He also worked in Stonehenge's venture capital/private equity practice, where he was responsible for underwriting and administration of equity and mezzanine investments. Prior to Stonehenge, Cliff worked as a Project Manager for Preservation North Carolina, where he marketed and supervised rehabilitation of historic structures utilizing state and federal tax credits. Prior to Preservation North Carolina, Cliff worked as Project Coordinator for the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana. Cliff received a BA from Rollins College, and received MBA and Master of Regional Planning degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Knox A. Knox Clark, Jr. - Principal
Mr. Clark is a co-founder of the American Community Renewable Energy Fund and the founder of Gulf South Finance, LLC. Knox has over fifteen years of commercial and corporate finance experience as an asset based lender, investment banker and corporate development director. Prior to forming Gulf South Finance, Knox served as Vice President, Marketing for Gulf Coast Business Credit, a New Orleans asset based lender and affiliate of Gulf South. Prior to joining Gulf Coast, Knox served as Vice President, Corporate Finance with Hibernia Southcoast Capital where he spent three years executing mergers & acquisitions, equity financings and other financial advisory services for public and private companies. Prior to Hibernia Southcoast, he spent nine years in the natural resource industry as a corporate development professional executing stock and asset acquisitions, greenfield and expansion projects, new product development initiatives and existing operation enhancements on five continents. Knox earned a BA from Tulane University and a MBA from Loyola University.
Susan Susan J. Seagren - Vice President
Ms. Seagren has over six years of investment banking experience, with a focus on financing private technology companies. Prior to Rebirth Capital, Susan was an associate in the Private Capital Group at Silicon Valley Bank Alliant responsible for executing financings for companies in the technology and healthcare sectors. Before joining Alliant, Susan was an account manager at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners where she was responsible for strategy development, client relations and process management for AT&T and eBay. Prior to Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Susan was a senior analyst in the Corporate Finance Group at JPMorgan H&Q (Hambrecht & Quist) where she focused on equity transactions for private and public software and Internet companies. She holds a BS in Finance with highest honors from the University of Colorado.
  Kyle Saucier - Vice President

Mr. Saucier has more than ten years of alternative business financing and secured lending experience, particularly in portfolio management and compliance. Prior to Rebirth Capital, Kyle was the Portfolio Manager for Gulf Coast Business Credit (GCBC), an arm of Gulf Coast Bank. In this role he managed a portfolio of more than 100 active borrowers and directed GCBC compliance function.  Prior to GCBC, Kyle worked as an associate and account executive with KBK Financial. Kyle earned a BA in International Economics & Finance from The Catholic University of America.

 


Kathryn J. Frattaroli - Associate
Ms. Frattaroli joined the team after completing an internship for Rebirth Capital. Prior to Rebirth Capital, Kathryn worked as a Research Assistant for Presidential Historian and author, Dr. Douglas Brinkley, aiding in the research, completion and publication of Dr. Brinkley’s book, "The Wilderness Warrior: Theodore Roosevelt and the Crusade for America". Prior to working for Dr. Brinkley, Kathryn worked as Public Relations Intern at Deveney Communications, a small boutique communications firm. Prior to her time with Deveney Communication, Kathryn served as Communications Intern for the American Cancer Society. Kathryn holds a BA from Loyola University New Orleans.
